An Aspirating Smoke Detector (ASD) is an advanced fire detection system that continuously draws air samples through a network of sampling pipes installed throughout the protected area. The sampled air is analyzed by a highly sensitive optical detection chamber capable of identifying ultra-fine smoke particles at the earliest stage of combustion—often before visible smoke is present. This enables rapid warning and early intervention, significantly reducing the risk of fire escalation.
Our Compact ASD is specifically designed to provide highly reliable fire detection in confined and enclosed spaces where conventional smoke detectors are difficult to install or may not perform effectively. Its compact size allows easy integration into electrical cabinets, battery racks, battery energy storage systems (BESS), control panels, and other critical equipment enclosures.
